Hi, I’m Angeline.
If you're here, something brought you. Maybe you know exactly what it is, or maybe you just have a feeling that something isn't quite right. Either way, you're welcome here.
I'm Angeline Kelly, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Sonoma County with six years of clinical experience. I work with kids, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and parents and children together. Some of my clients are parents who are worried about their child and not sure what to do. Some are adults going through something hard or just noticing that life isn't feeling the way they want it to. Some are couples who want to actually hear each other again. And some are kids or teens who are struggling in ways that don't always have a neat label.
I've worked many different settings over the years including residential treatment, county behavioral health, group practice, and outpatient care, and I bring all of those experiences with me into the work.
I see clients in person in my office in downtown Petaluma and virtually throughout California. Wherever you are in your process of healing, I'm glad you're here.
My Approach
My approach is psychodynamic and deeply influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which means we spend time understanding the different parts of you that need to be seen, heard, and understood. I also draw from attachment-based therapy, family systems, somatic approaches, mindfulness, expressive arts, and play therapy. With younger clients especially, I find that healing doesn't always happen through words alone. Sometimes it happens through art, movement, metaphor, or just feeling safe enough to be themselves in the room.
I truly believe my clients are the experts of their own lives. My role is to bring curiosity, compassion, and a calm presence into the room and create a space where you can show up as you are without having to perform or explain yourself. I work holistically, integrating creativity, humor, and authenticity into practice, because I think those things matter just as much as any clinical framework.
I've worked with kids, teens, adults, and families through some of the hardest seasons of their lives, and I take that trust seriously. Whether you're navigating something acute or just have a sense that something isn't quite right, you are welcome here. My hope is that our work together leads to a more expressive, expansive, and integrated version of yourself.
